About a month ago I received an e-mail from a friend. In the e-mail, my friend is attaching some short stories but quite interesting and full of messages that can be used as material for reflection for us, to make our personalities even better.On this occasion, I will share one story, which the story is very closely related to vanity.

The following simple story, may have been read by friends of bloggers and loyal readers of Life Success Blog articles, be it via email, just like me, or from other sources. But as I said before, that this story is a story that is quite interesting and full of messages that can be used as material for contemplation for us, to make our personalities better, so it doesn't matter on this occasion I share-Well again.
Here's the story:
A scholar aboard a boat in a lake.
He asked the boatman:
Scholar: "Friend, have you ever studied Mathematics?"
Boatman: "No"
Scholar: "Too bad, that means you've lost another quarter of your life. Or maybe you've studied Philosophy?"
Boatman: "That doesn't either"
Scholar: "Twice dear, it means you have lost another quarter of your life. What about history?"
Boatman: "Neither do"
Scholar: "That is, another quarter of your life is gone"
Suddenly the wind blew hard and there was a storm. The lake that was calm turned into bumpy, the boat that they boarded was shaking. The scholar was pale with fear. The boatman calmly asked:
Boatman: "Have you ever learned to swim?"
Scholar: "No"
Boatman: "Too bad, it means you will lose your whole life"
Together with the short story above, there are a number of messages delivered, namely:
- We can't be arrogant. God says that a proud person will be humbled. Conversely, humble people will be exalted in due course.
- No matter how high our education is, we cannot master all knowledge, let alone skills.
